The team at Arts North West is committed to providing creative opportunities in the New England North West. The upcoming series of creative days is open for all of our region's arts practitioners and will be held in Walcha, Narrabri and Quirindi.

Offering a full day program of advice, networking, and professional development for artists, arts organisations and community groups, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow artists in the region. Come for the whole day or half day sessions.

PROGRAM:
10:30-12:30 – Arts + Business One on One
One-on-one arts/business advice. You will be allocated a 20 min time slot and come and discuss an arts project or event you would like to organise. You might like to discuss tips on project management, planning, budgets, partners, promotion, funding sources including crowdsourcing, or more logistics planning such as insurance, branding or business plans. A BEC Digital Support Advisor will also be available to discuss financial analysis, building and marketing your business, making the most of your talent and team, management capabilities and digital engagement including e-commerce. Or perhaps you just need to be connected with who is doing what and what else is happening in the region.

12:30-1:30 Lunch

1:30-5:30 Head and Hands

Head 1:30-4:30: Kim V Goldsmith from Ochre Communications draws on her experience in using social media in small business, interest advocacy and issues management as well as over 26 years in media and marketing. Learn more about how to use Social Media to engage your audience through sound strategy, great content and time management as well as how to monitor and evaluate your social media plan.

Hands 4:30-5:30: Give your brain a rest and get your imaginative juices flowing! Join in on a fun badge-making activity. All materials provided – just enjoy some creative time

6-7 Creative Connections
A session for the whole arts and creative community. A chance to meet, mingle, introduce yourself, make contacts and maybe even kick start future collaborations. Up for grabs are 8 slots in our Pecha Kucha presentation (20 slides @ 20 secs each), an opportunity to showcase you or your project, your creative practice, share an idea or inspire creativity. Concise, fast paced and lots of fun!
