Arts trail live

Arts North West hit the road and delivered a series of creative development workshops across our region. Four free workshops were delivered over the weekend of 17 & 18 September 2022 for Arts Trail Live.

“Our first three workshops for Arts Trail Live were wonderful. Having a powerhouse, generous talent like Buddy Knox, a passionate artist with so much knowledge to share like Kay Gray, and a veteran teacher and artist like Andrew Parker providing workshops to our communities in one day, was such an honour,” Michèle said.

The project was made possible by funding from the RAF Cultural Tourism Accelerator program and was designed to encourage arts tourism across the New England North West region, allowing people a chance to take part in a creative activity in one weekend.

The artist facilitators and venues in this project were:

Kay Gray
Eco-Dyeing workshop
Ceramic Break Sculpture Park – Warialda

Buddy Knox
‘Sing A Song With Me’ performance workshop
Yaama Ganu Gallery – Moree

Robert Dunn
Digital Photography Fundamentals
Wee Waa Community Arts and Cultural Centre - Wee Waa

Andrew Parker
‘Everything you wanted to know about clay but were too afraid to ask’
