Professional Development - Branding + Marketing for Regional Creatives

Arts North West and Taylah Maree, a Gunnedah-based creative business coach and photographer delivered a series of professional development group mentor workshops that focused on creating branding and marketing that speaks to our regional identity.

Participants discovered the tools to build a brand bespoke to their practice, to create an invigorating marketing strategy and discovered their own superpower as a creative business living and working in a regional area. Attendees received the tools, resources and guidance along with practical tips to start implementing right away, to create the business branding they dreamed of!

Arts North West also partnered with UNE SMART Region Incubator to deliver the Armidale workshop on Monday 28th August as part of this series of professional development sessions. This was held at UNE SRI, NOVA 122 Faulkner Street, Armidale.

The topics discussed in these sessions will include:

1.    Branding - Building a creative brand, not just a business

2.    Marketing - Marketing 101 for regional creatives

3.    How To Run A Creative Business In A Regional Area - Owning your superpower as a small business owner in a regional area
