cultural governance worshop

Building the cultural capacity of organisations to work in a culturally appropriate, safe and sensitive manner with respect for cultural protocols. This workshop aims to build the participation of First Nations creatives in community and arts spaces. Lorrayne Fishenden of 2Rivers Pty Ltd led the workshop, with additional expertise provided by:

• Mark Cora - a contemporary First Nations artist who previously worked as an Arts Development Officer for Arts Northern Rivers supporting artists in Bunjalung Nation from Grafton to Tweed. Prior to that Mark was involved in the Wesfarmers Indigenous Arts Leadership Program at the National Gallery of Australia (NGA) Canberra, 2016 Wesfarmers Leadership Program Mentor. 2017-19 and the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair.
